Look: Bright Green and Black

26 Sep

This is a basic black and bright color look where the main color is interchangeable. I was in a Green mood, so I went with that. Ignore that I rubbed the corner of my eye and didn’t notice until it was too late- the black should connect at the corner. Please leave any questions/comments below!

Products Used:

Base: Urban Decay Primer Potion (Original)
Lid: Sweet & Punchy (MAC, yellow-green) under Pagan (MAC bright, matte green– Bitter may work too, as I know Pagan is from McQueen and may be hard to find)
Crease: Urban Decay Oil Slick (True Black with Silver Shimmer)
Highlight: Dreammaker (MAC Pale Yellow-Gold)
Waterline: Carbon (MAC-Matte Black)
Liquid Line: Chanel Style Eyeliner Liquide in Black (No color name listed), darkened with UD Oil Slick
Mascara: Plushblack (MAC)

Loreal Colour Riche lipliner in Eternal Mauve (Light Pink)
Jubilee Lipstick (MAC-Nude)
Chanel Glossimer #121

Undereye/Concealer – Smashbox Camera Ready Full Coverage Concealer
Powder- Studio Fix (MAC NC-35)
Blush- Smashbox Soft Lights in Glow

242- Shader Brush
239 – Eye Shader Brush
217 – Blending Brush
219 – Pencil Brush
208 – Angled Eyeliner Brush
214 – Short Shader Brush

195- Concealer Brush
134 – Powder Brush
116 – Blush Brush

Prime your eyes with Urban Decay Primer Potion all over the lid. Next, take your 242 brush and apply Sweet and Punchy on the lid and over the crease. To intensify the color, go over the Sweet and Punchy with Pagan or Bitter. Using the 239 Brush, apply plenty of Urban Decay Oil slick to your crease and inward, over the green (Carbon works here too, I just found Oil Slick has a bit more of the intensity I was looking for.) Use your 217 to blend the green into the black blending upward, then use it to soften the harsh line of the black at the top. Taking your (clean) 242 brush, highlight with Dreammaker. Taking your 219, line your bottom lashes with Sweet & Punchy, then go over with Pagan. Take your 208 eyeliner brush and line your waterline with Carbon, then using the Chanel Style Eyeliner Liquide, or any black liquid eyeliner, starting from the middle, line your top lashes and wing at the side. Taking the 208 again, use some Carbon or Oil Slick on the lower outside corner of your eye and connect with your wing, and then smudge with the 214. At this point, apply false lashes for a more intense look. Curl your lashes and apply MAC Plushblack Mascara (or the Black mascara of your choosing).

Using a clean powder brush, wipe any fallout away from your undereyes. With the 195 concealer brush, apply Smashbox Camera Ready Full-Coverage Concealer (or your regular concealer) to your undereyes and blend. Also cover any blemishes as needed. Next, apply Studio Fix powder all over your face with the 134 brush, and apply Smashbox Soft Lights blush (Glow) to the apples of your cheeks with the 116.

Line your lips with Loreal Colour Riche Liner (Eternal Mauve), then fill in the lips with the liner. Next, apply Jubilee Lipstick (MAC), and gloss with Chanel Glossimer #121.
